Hobbies And Memories

Hobbies and Memories…..

Hello again, dear Reader , and thanks for taking the time to read this. First , I would like to apologize ,because though my intention is clearly stated in the title ,We will be taking a more roundabout approach to discuss it.So , I request you to please be patient and bear with me as we start. This blog is meant for sharing my interests , So I felt like Telling my thoughts in this post .But, if you want to skip this long, winded article I do not blame you. Thanks for visiting .
Why do most of us have hobbies? This question might not seem that complex at first. Many would answer to help release pent up stress , for purported health benefits or similar reasons and the answer given , would be correct ,to varying degrees for every individual. But , on a deeper level , if we take the time to look at the answers , they all have something in common .We are searching for something in our hobbies and more often than not, it turns out to be a way to escape. A small relief, a temporary exit out of our daily life-no matter how monotonous or exciting the said life might be.Even a life filled with excitement and adventure at every turn might start to feel repetitive ,dulling you to the thrills you get to experience .For without experiencing the calmness and tranquility of the mundane , the beauty and wonder of a great adventure can not be truly appreciated and vice versa .We tend to take things for granted ,not realizing the true value of the moments , big or small , until they have long passed. But , unfortunately ,that to some level , is a necessary sin because the opposite might be worse.Too caught up in giving the moment the value we think it deserves , we end up forgetting to live the moment, choosing to pass over the experience and enjoying it with your whole being in favor of a memory only to be viewed later through rose tinted glasses of nostalgia.
Only rarely do we get to experience an event which we know in advance will be a cherished memory while simultaneously enjoying every last drop of emotion it provides and when we do, nothing can compare .For a simulation of that fleeting moment or to increase our chances at having it , we look for hobbies. Hobbies like Video Games , Reading etc. , where we know with every step of the way our hero is moving towards his goal and we-sharing his experience ,vicariously or not , are going to reach the point where it will be a memory , a grand one but a memory ,nonetheless.Other Hobbies Exercise,Gardening etc. are helpful to escape the overwhelming nature of our life towards a balance where we might start to be able to cherish the experiences we have taken for granted just a little bit more.
And to those who stuck to the end ,Wow ,Thanks for reading.

Why I do not like Iron Man…

Why I do not like Iron Man part 1…
Hello ,dear reader , and thanks for the taking the time to read this.Without much preamble ,let’s dive into it. This is going to be an article on why I do not like Iron man .Iron man ,undeniably ,is the or rather was the superstar of the MCU .It is easy to see why ,Iron Man the movie ,was the first entry in the MCU and Iron Man/Tony Stark ,The character was really a revelation .Robert Downey Jr. turned out to be the perfect actor to play Iron Man .He brought with him the charisma ,the love to hate smart aleck bad boy ,the guy with a large heart and a larger repertoire of one-liners .Sure , we had seen a more human representation of a super hero in the Sam Raimi , Spider-Man movies ,but those were of a rather diffferent nature .Tobey Maguire’s Portrayal of Peter Parker/Spider-Man ,albeit an amazing performance ,was definitely skewed ,more in favour of the Peter Parker aspect of the character due to the writing and maybe it was intended to be so with Maguire in mind .But this ended up causing a definite rift , There was none of Spidey’s witty banter or lame jokes to balance out the brooding Peter .But with Iron-Man they never had to face this issue as Tony was always the witty , charismatic character with or without the suit .It made it easier for the writers to have the cool, charismatic aspects of his personality at the forefront.
Now Coming to my issues with the character , think for a moment ,why does he help people? I mean , Spider-Man does it out of a sense of responsibility .He genuinely believes that since he has these powers , he should use them to help others. Same can be said for Captain America ,He knows how it feels to be powerless in the face of evil ,to want to be able to stand up to the wrongs of the world and find yourself absolutely unable to do so . Black Widow does it because it’s her mission , the team her Family and Hawkeye for some similar reasons .Hulk is a more interesting case and Thor, I would like to talk about later. Now ,Tony , on first glance seems to do it for similar reasons-out of a sense of responsibility and at the surface that seems to be the case, but unfortunately ,in my opinion ,that is very misleading .See ,what Tony does not understand is how ordinary People need help, that is not something he has been able to comprehend. He has never been in the shoes of a person who was in a position where he was completely powerless till he was caught by the terrorists who were using his own technology .A simple fact of the world is that money equals power-and Tony always had enough of that .He just never used it for anything which could help others .Even after he escaped from his prison ,with one of his few friends dying in the attempt ,he doesn’t seem to help people because he understands them anymore ,on the contrary it appears that he has regressed somewhat .Yes ,he stopped manufacturing weapons to be sold but that can be explained as having a fear of them ,in regards for his own safety ,not about the well being of others who might suffer on account of the weapons he has created .He is not seen helping people because they need it but rather because he finds it to be fun ,Like a kid with a new toy. And all this is without talking about the false sense of responsibility he shows , but This is getting long, So I think it would be better if I split this article.
Once Again,Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it…And please remember this is just My opinion, feel free to leave your own in the comments below
